Come celebrate saving the universe at the Young Avengers NYCC Afterparty
This idea was being tossed around before to significant interest, and after a fair amount of venue-scouting, planning is proceeding apace to bring you the best party you can possibly imagine! We are holding a Young Avengers (and general young Marvel) themed party on Friday, October 10th at New York Comic Con. We want you to come out and show your appreciation for the comics we love and the talented authors and artists who create them, all while drinking and dancing the night away.
There are two venues in consideration for this event, which one is chosen depends on the amount of interest I can garner. If you plan to attend NYCC this year, or know those who will, please reblog/like this post, like and share our page on Facebook where all updates will be posted
There will be a crowd funding page created within the next few days for this endeavor; however I am not asking a lot of money. 75 people paying a 25$ cover fee would cover the base costs of venue rental. That’s only the cost of buying one less action figure, or several fewer comic books, at the con itself.
I know there are many more than 75 people in NYC and at the con who would love to attend. Our prospective venue accommodates up to 250 people. The more money we can raise, the better this party will be (cash bar becomes open bar, etc.) and the more that can be given back to you!
